The oversize wing chairs, the camelback loveseat, the draped tester king bed, the crewel-like spread and handmade patchwork quilt will take you back to our earliest Colonial period. Oriental carpets and Asian porcelain pieces suggest the influence of the export trade of that time.
Suite 202 ~ Turn of the Century Suite
1896-1910
A cocoon-like romantic space with white king bed canopy and linens, flowered carpeting, and soothing flecked jade green wallpaper so reminiscent of the early 1900's. You remember Grandma's quarter-sawn oak furniture pieces just like these, and the damask cinnabar sofa sleeps 2 extra adults. Very cozy!
Suite 203 ~ Georgian Suite
1725-1835
What a formal and handsome room! Your furniture and accessories will remind you of the early White House with Queen Anne, Chippendale, Federal, and Duncan Phyfe style pieces. The sea faring paintings recall our American Revolution. The unusual color scheme of the bed coverings on your rice carved four poster king bed is a complementary aqua, salmon, and gold that is carried throughout your finely upholstered furnishings.
Suite 204 ~ Victorian Suite
1837-1901
The weighted and sophisticated velveteen tufted sofa and walnut "Sleeping Beauty" bed play to the Victorian era without being overdone. The lavish, silken damask bed coverings, tapestries, and Tiffany style lamp warm the grand enveloping space.
Suite 205 ~Country Formal Suite
1850-today
This suite bestows a European feel of the cottages of moneyed gentry. The crystal lamps and chandeliers add formality to the repetitive cabbage roses that adorn the furnishings. There are original oils depicting animals everywhere. With its bright yellow walls and crimson carpet, it's such a happy place!
Suite 206 ~ Empire Suite
1815-1840 (American Empire)
With an ostentatious King Louis XV gargoyle settee, comfortable cushy loveseat, draped and canopied king bed, heavy brocade coverlet, Aubusson carpets, and gold gilded pastoral paintings, this suite is opulent, glamorous, and slightly pompous.

Pondside Country Motel
Select from our "Sweetheart Room", 3 Room Suite, or Traditional Rooms with either one queen bed, two double beds, or two queen beds and a full private bath. Our “Sweetheart Room” is compact but cozy with one romantic queen canopy bed and a dual whirlpool tub.
The 3 Room Suite with a complete kitchen offers one queen bedroom, living room with a queen sofa bed, a large room with a whirlpool for two, and offers a private deck from which you can observe the intrigues of waterfowl and pond life.
The heated outdoor pool provides relaxation and fun for all of our guests between Memorial Day and Labor Day, weather permitting!
